•    linens: new or gently used towels, twin sheets, full sheets, dish towels, etc.
•    books: new or gently used books for children 0-18 years of age
•    non-perishable food: soups, chili, pasta, boxed dinners, canned fruit, etc.
•    personal hygiene items: shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, etc.

Adopt-A-Family/Child

Adopt a family for the holidays (Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas) by providing groceries and/or gifts. Adopt a student for back to school by providing a new backpack and school supplies for the first day of school.

Birthdays

Bake or purchase a birthday cake for a child in one of our programs.

Yard Care

•    prepare flower beds: weed, trim shrubs, edge, etc.
•    paint fences
•    pick up trash
•    clear gutters
•    sweep walkways

Make a Home Program

Clean and prep a house. Families often leave a house in good condition, so it usually only requires a light cleaning. We want it to look great, so we’ll focus on the details. Once it is clean, we’ll prepare the bedrooms, bathrooms, and kitchen for the family with sheets, towels, food, and similar items. The idea is to make a home – to create an environment that is welcoming for the new family that is entering one of our programs.
