A 59-minute investment in how you can change a life

We invite you to come and see first-hand a work that changes the lives of homeless families at the behind-the-scenes House Warming Tour.

Homelessness is a lot closer to home than many ever expected. It is shocking how often people tell us that a family member or close friend is on the brink of homelessness, due to a lost job, family crisis, or other factors. In that situation, what do you do? What do you know about family homelessness and the solutions out there? How can you make a difference in the lives of your neighbors in these tough times?

We invite you to join us for one of our monthly House Warming Tours. These 1 hour behind-the-scenes times are packed with information and a great venue to ask questions of people who are on the frontlines with families, and a part of the policy-making discussion on a local and state level. We want to hear from you!

What is it? The House Warming Tour at Helping Hand House is a behind-the-scenes 59 minute introduction to the issue of family homelessness in our community, and the work that Helping Hand House is doing to prevent and end family homelessness in Pierce County. It is an opportunity to meet HHH’s Executive Director, Nola Renz, and front-line staff, as well as hear personal stories from families in our programs and have questions answered about how people can get plugged in and make a real difference in the lives of families in need.

When is it? The tour is on the 3rd Saturday of every month from 9:30 – 10:30am. It starts promptly at 9:30 to honor everyone’s time. (EXCEPTIONS: Please see form below for information on February, November, and December)

Where is it? The tour is held at Helping Hand House’s facility at 11701 101st Ave Ct E, Puyallup, near the Best Buy on South Hill.
