Helping Hand House always has volunteer projects for all ages, groups, schedules, and skills. Some popular projects are listed below.

Supply Drives: conduct supply drives for our most needed items. These include:

Adopt-A-Family/Child: adopt a family for the holidays (Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas) by providing groceries and/or gifts. Adopt a student for back to school by providing a new backpack and school supplies for the first day of school.

Birthdays: bake or purchase a birthday cake for a child in one of our programs.

Yard Care

"Make a Home Program": clean and prep a house. Families often leave a house in good condition, so it usually only requires a light cleaning. We want it to look great, so we'll focus on the details. Once it is clean, we'll prepare the bedrooms, bathrooms, and kitchen for the family with sheets, towels, food, and similar items. The idea is to make a home - to create an environment that is welcoming for the new family that is entering one of our programs.
