Like all non-profit organizations, the agency is required by law to inform clients of policies regarding privacy or client information prior to provision of service. This document outlines the types of personal information we receive and collect when a client uses Helping Hand House services, as well as some of the steps we take to safeguard information. Helping Hand House collects nonpublic personal information about you when you apply for Helping Hand House services. This information is either provided to us by you or obtained by us from a third party with your authorization.

RECORD RETENTION

Helping Hand House retains records relating to professional services for up to seven (7) years. These records are retained for required reporting purposes only. To protect nonpublic client information against loss, theft, and misuse, as well as unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction, Helping Hand House maintains physical and procedural safeguards in compliance with these privacy policies.
